Nevada Senate Majority Leader Steven Horford is having a Høøt the Gøøb party in Nor’Town during Nevada governor Jim Gibbons’ “emergency” state of the state (subtitled: time to move to Idaho!) speech this Monday. Oh, okay, it’s not really called a “Høøt the Gøøb” party, but I’m sure the senator won’t mind some høøting during the [...] Speaking to the Mount Rose Republican Women the other day, my candidate for the Republican gubernatorial primary, one James Tiberius Gibbons, spouted the following: I am pro-nuclear but I have to be against Yucca Mountain and it’s not because it’s politically motivated. I’m a scientist, remember. I know you can store nuclear waste safely. [...] Yes! All RIROs and the desiccated Gibbons-core from Incline Village and environs North sing the praises of the New Gibbons! Well, it’s not so much that he’s new. It’s just that he’s SO desperate, he’s unleashed the inner-Gibbons like he’s never released him before, except maybe in that parking garage near McCormick and Schmick’s. It’s as if [...] News that GOP Gubewannabe Brian Sandoval was the target of questions concerning ethics violations by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics no doubt fueled the false hopes of the foolish in the Nevada Repug party that maybe, just maybe, Mr. Sandoval, or Toast as he’s called around the ‘Monger manse, has a chance of ousting Gibbons [...] Well, one doesn’t usually need toothpicks under the eyelids to get through a Pate 2 Pate, but when Dullard Sandoval McMilquetoast climbed aboard the Ralston express the other day, they would have been helpful. He was, shall we say, dry as a judge. Yep, old Brian’s been out of the political rough and tumble for [...] Okay, okay. Nobody can say that the 'Monger ain't entrepreneurial. So, here's a couple of pitches. The first is a sequel to a 2007 sequel to a show from the 70's… Great concept, eh? Half price, this year only! Call me, Dick Wolf! We'll do lunch. Well, failing that, maybe I can get a slot over at [...] It’s the battle of the Rich Tahoe Gibbons’ cronies! Who’s lying? The alleged teeny-bopper fancier or the failed political bossman? (RJ) Catching up with the latest gubisms: Gube not living in the manse cuz his baby don’t love him no more. (Sun,RJ,RGJ,LVG,INP) Don’t miss: the comments over at the RGJ, and the UNR egghead and Gibster apologist’s pitiful whining in the Sun about how its all a distraction. From what? The mishandling of the budget crisis or [...] "Sheriff decertifies Gibbons’ pistol instructor." (RGJ) How come everybody else besides the Gube ends up paying for his mistakes? Naturally, Gibbons’ gun instructor was among the 10,000 or so who served on a transition team. (INP) UPDATE: the Reno Gazette Journal is suing to get the Sheriff of Washoe County to disclose the status of the Gube’s concealed [...] |
