One of my favoritestie peoples in the whole world, the man who brought you Jim Gibbons, is old Bobby Uithoven. Bobby’s most recent job–for the time being at least–is Chicken Sue Lowden’s campaign manager. You’d think after navigating Gibbons through that gaffe-a-day campaign in 2006, Bobby would find Lowden’s chicken for a doctor shtick easy to paint [...] Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons, in an astounding endorsement of the Federal Government, stated today that his office would be unable to administer the high risk insurance pool required by new Health Insurance law. The button proclaimed proudly that “Governor Gibbons: He Kept His Promise.” The button can only raise the question: which promise was that? Was it the promise to love and honor [...] So, a spokesman for Harry Reid suggests on the occasion that Jim Gibbons will continue with his dubiously legal frivolous lawsuit against the health care bill: Reno, NV – Jon Summers, the spokesman for Nevada Senator Harry Reid, today issued the following statement regarding Governor Gibbons’ decision to join a lawsuit to block the [...] Now, I was under the impression that Attorney General Cortez-Masto was holding her own in the dust-up between her and Gube Jim Gibbons, who is trying to force her to file the frivolous law suit against the new health care law. Why, look what she said yesterday in response to his latest vitriolic attack: Masto’s wrote [...] And that non-barred lawyer would be the failed governor of Nevada. That’s where states pass [...] Now that the glory days of the Re-elect Jim Gibbons Special Session are behind it, as are the joys of vetoing legislation it supported, the cash-strapped and inherently uninteresting Re-up the Gube campaign/gov staff is frantically scrounging for ways to get the Guv in front of the cameras so as to remain before the tired eyes [...] In a recent article by Anjeanette Damon about how the Gibbons’ leadership has failed the test of the health care crisis, we find Gibbers’ defenders hard pressed to find a nice thing to say about the Gube’s missteps. This, of course, is not the first time James Milhous Gibbons has gone berserk on the press.
