Legislators File Briefs in Support of Reno Gazette Journal Lawsuit

Barbara Buckley and other members of the Assembly have joined the law suit by the Reno Gazette-Journal to have a peek at those budget papers. [UPDATE: AP (thanks, NVMojo), INP]

The Speaker of the Nevada Assembly and Chair and Vice Chair of the
Assembly Ways and Means Committee are supporting a lawsuit filed by the
Reno Gazette-Journal to force Governor Jim Gibbons to release state
agency recommendations for budget cuts.

Speaker Barbara Buckley, Assemblyman Morse Arberry, Jr., and
Assemblywoman Sheila Leslie today filed an amici curiae brief in the
first judicial district court in Carson City in support of the
newspaper's lawsuit.
