Goin’ to the Dogs

Uithovens2nd_2
So, the governor plagiarizes an idea that’s been around a decade
or two and suggests that the Nevada Department of Public Endangerment
use dogs to sniff for drugs. (RJ). Well, maybe the department can use the dogs to find the drugs missing from the Fernley Fallon office.

State Senator with a vested interest in keeping business licensing in Nevada as secretive as possible,
may start looking a lot better to our aging, gimpy gaming warlords as
Governor Stumble McSlipup careens through his daily chores. (Sun,Ralston)

Gleaner commentator asks cogent question: in what sense is Bob Beers’ campaign manager "overqualified"? (LVG) Overqualified at getting underqualified gooftards elected, maybe?

Allison Copening will be having her Campaign 2008 kick-off

  • Isn’t it time to move the Nevada state Capital to Las Vegas?
    And to outlaw Gambling?
And to legalize Sexual Prostitution throughout Nevada.. to compete with the ubiquitous Political Prostitution that permeates Nevada?

    Where’s the FBI?

Is Beers taking money from PACs that aren’t registered/filing with the SOS?

Copening “stepped down” from the Las Vegas Valley Water District to avoid conflicts of interests, yet she’s now getting paid as their consultant. I guess the word “conflict” is a matter of opinion.

Yeah, that is bullshit! But at least the water district is only quasi-governmental.
Bullshit also is an adjective to explain Senator Bob Beers’ Nevada Development company getting a “resolution” from the Governor that they display on thier website to intice people to invest in his publically held company! No other company has received such a thing from Governor Gibbons. Imagine, using the Nevada State Seal as a way to intice out of state businesses to do business with State Senator Beers! R-J columnist Mary Jane Something just had a column about the illegal use of the State Seal.
Does Beers approve the use of State taxpayer money to people that donate to his campaign? Does he vote in Committee to give away millions of dollars of taxpayer dollars, that could go for schools, public safety or a tax rebate, to non-state programs and then twenty minutes later go to the Seante floor and vote against what he just approved in Committee? Yes, he does such chicken shit things as this. I believe he is too reprehensible to be a Senator!

Eh, people are just bitter because Bob was right all along about TASC and the spendy-types just refused to listen.
I’m sure Allison Copening will prove to be a formidable opponent, what with her being “nice” and all, according to the Sun. She’s going to discuss the issues later, apparently after she’s coached on what to say by Titus and company. That oughta be a hoot.
Good thing she didn’t give up her day job after all.

  • Ho HO

Bob was wrong about TASC! Nevada budget increased population plus COLA (about 16%) and now we have to cut back. Nope, TASC would have been demonstrably wrong, again.
