Gibbons giveth. Raggio taketh away.
Sporting a set of choppers worthy of a Cylon overlord, Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons announced in his inaugurating speech that "unity" is his goal. This after running a negative campaign that proudly pitted the Sinful South against "Gibbons’ Country," Mayor Goodman against those other mayors, Big Mining and Gaming against the rest of us, Bidness against Environmentalists, etc., etc.
Anyways, it didn’t take long for Bill Raggio to undermine the whole "thing":
"I hope everyone picks up on the unity thing," sez Senate Majority Leader Bill Raggio (R-19th Century). Oh, that Bill! By calling it "the unity thing" he ridicules as he pretends to defend!
