Let’s focus on a real issue (Foley) of importance to all Americans. Dina Titus and Harry Reid pointed out today that Republicans (Foley) have just raised taxes on the middle class. Through their inaction, Republicans (Foley) have allowed the sales tax rebate to lapse, as well as tax breaks for teachers’ expenses and the college tuition credit. Republicans (Foley) tied these middle class tax breaks to tax cuts for the wealthy, like cuts in estate taxes and dividend taxes.
You can hardly think of anything more ironic (Foley – child abuse) than the Republican Party and Jim Gibbons voting to raise taxes, can you?
